We have gatherings at 4 pm and 7pm, so pick whichever time works for you. We’ll sing traditional Christmas carols and contemporary Christmas songs, and read the Christmas story from Luke’s biography about Jesus. Kids are welcome and we’ll provide materials to keep them interested. And we’ll finish up in just under an hour by singing “Silent Night” outdoors by candlelight.

This Summer, JLP presents “Water All Around the World” Vacation Bible Fun.
Our VBF will be held June 17–21 (M-F) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Children from age XX to XX are welcome. There is no cost to attend.
Water All Around the World is designed to enable children to understand the importance of access to clean water for health, and to make them aware of the way in which this access—or lack of access!—affects the lives of children in other countries. It also teaches the value of water in our own lives and encourages water conservation.
Each day of this five-day VBS includes an opening time which focuses on a different country, a Bible story, a mission story, activities and crafts, recreation and snacks, music, reflection, and a closing time.
Signed Permission Forms are required. They can be completed during enrollment, but you’re welcome to review it beforehand.

JLPers turned out in record numbers to pick up litter along Northwood Street after our worship service last Sunday. When we make things better in our community, we are furthering our mission to be the “provisional demonstration of the Kingdom of God.” Thanks to everyone who participated!
