We want children, youth, and elders to be able to experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. We take this responsibility seriously.
Safe Sanctuary is the name for all our efforts to make JLP a safe place. One of our Safe Sanctuary requirements is that everyone involved in ministries to children and other vulnerable individuals have up-to-date background checks and are aware of the church’s policies and procedures for preventing, recognizing, and reporting problems.
If you need (re-) certification, or would like to know more about our Safe Sanctuary policy, please make plans to attend our next training event on Sunday, October 1 at noon, following the education hour. Preregistration isn’t necessary and all materials will be provided. Please contact Pastor Luke with questions or if you need to schedule a make-up date.
