Join us this Sunday for another JLP Movie Night, with a free showing of the movie Woodlawn.
Especially relevant after the recent events in Charlottesville, Woodlawn is a moving and inspirational film based on the true story of how love and unity overcame hate and division on a football team in early 1970s Birmingham, Alabama. More than 40 players, black and white, give their lives over to a “better way” found by following Jesus, and the change is so profound in them it affects their coach, their school and their community in ways no one could have imagined.
Showtime is 7 p.m. Bring a friend! Admission is free, and so’s the popcorn. Childcare will be available.
